Oh, it’s so lonely up there, And because of that, It’s so lonely down here... If you only knew Is time to unglue The old black horse-shoe And play the game with force Without any remorse, The world would face the truth Listening to the Poet’s Blues… Oh, it’s so lonely up there, And because of that, It’s so lonely down here... Yes, you, and you, and you Who loves red, white and blue, Rise to defend the human grace By letting love shine on your face While helping all face the truth When listening to the Poet’s Blues… Oh, it’s so lonely up there, And because of that, It’s so lonely down here... But don’t fear, isn’t so bad, The Poet writes, he’s quite glad; Food for thought he can provide, For a moment stop the tide, So, all who listen know the truth When the Poet sings his Blues… Oh, it’s so lonely up there, And because of that, It’s so lonely down here...
