The Clown
Once upon a town, There was a great clown, He wore a funny crown, Jumping up and down…
He loved every one, They laughed having fun; He drew tears by the ton Until there were none.
“Without tears we’re done, People can’t have fun; One may use a gun And then, there will be none!”
Such thoughts had the clown Seeing the crowd frown: “Higher, and higher, and down!” They saw the falling crown.
And they laughed as one Trying to have fun, Not minding the gun Until there were none!
Once upon a town, There was a great clown, He wore a funny crown, Jumping up and down…
