Din culise : EMMY 2018
Odata cu desvoltarea vertiginoasa a statiilor de televiziune, tot asa a luat amploare si necesitatea de a expune programe originale in cadrul tuturor categoriilor; ca atare, a rezultat o concurenta amplificata a subiectelor cu bugetele din categoriile respective. Economia costurilor de productie a programelor de 30 sau 60 de minute s-a marit fapt ce a influentat companiile producatoare sa le turneze nu numai dupa decorurile si locatiile necesare, dar si costurile lor ce includ calitatea echipelor tehnice si securitate. Astfel, Vancouver din vestul Canadei, a devenit ca atare, un focar cineast primar. Alte localitati concurente sint in special in Estul Europei, inclusiv Romania.
Pe cand in urma cu cativa ani o jumatate de ora TV (numai 24 de minute) costa in jur de US$100.000.00 episodul, a crescut mai recent la un sfert de milion; dar inovatia sistemului NETFLIX le-a permis sa cheltuiasca chiar si US$8 milioane de episod, ceeace a contribuit si la curajul de a alege subiecte aparte calitativ, neavind concurente egale. Ca atare, si numarul de premii EMMY decernate concomitent. Se pare insa ca recent bugetele de productie au domolit concurenta neavind puterea de distributie oferita de Netflix, cu alte citeva firme incumetindu-se sa concureze, ceeace ofera scenaristilor o oportunitate unica de creatie. In plus, originiand proiecte speciale "Outside the Box" programe cu subiecte pentru TV facute in alte tari si-au crescut sansele de a fi adoptate pentru piata Americana si chiar cea globala.
Cu exceptia festivalului Golden Globes - unde augusta audienta este asezata cite 10 in jurul meselor speciale unde se bucura si de un dinner inaintea spectacolului si in pauze celebritatile misuna vizitandu-se - atat la EMMY cit si la omagiatul OSCAR sau alte decernari asemanatoare, audienta e asezata ca la teatru, rind cu rind in asteptarea unei intamplari improvizate din senin, care se manifesta spontan din cind in cind si care devine "anecdota zilei"! Anul acesta n-a fost lipsit de o asemenea surpriza bine venita. Si anume, unul din premiati fiind pe scena si multumind colegilor care l-au ales, nu s-a multumit numai cu asta dar si-a declarat dragostea catre iubita lui cu care a venit, propunandu-i sa se casatoreasca si invitand-o pe scena ca sa-i ofere inelul traditional! Cam toti, plus sau minus 3,000 care au fost in sala cit si milioanele care au vizionat pe unde au fost, inclusiv subsemnatul, am ramas inmarmuriti pentru citeva momente dupa care sala a explodat in aplauade si strigate.
