ARTISTIC HIGHLIGHTS:
• As well recognized, there is no doubt where Michael Husu performs Music, playing Piano, playing Clarinet, performing Vocal songs and acts in Drama, you can feel his energy, the smile, his composure and his personality. When he begins to play, to sing and to act you realize that this young man has talent.
• Michael is an amazing actor who flawlessly portrayed his acting roles in the Junior Drama Productions.
• Michael plays Clarinet in the Senior Wind Symphony, Wind Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and the level of play is incredible. The energy and the enthusiasm he brought to every rehearsal and to every concert performances, no matter how long it was, was contagious.
• Michael has been selected to perform on the Honors Performance concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City, after entering and competing finalist musicians from 48 US States and Canada.
• Michael performed Clarinet at Carnegie Hall in June 2016 and in June 2017, one of the world’s most prestigious stages, remarkable experience by having the chance to meet new musicians and to work with special and famous Orchestra Conductors.
• Michael is a diligent, hardworking and passionate young musician. He has been studying piano through The Royal Conservatory of Music program. He graduates piano RCM Grade 10, final piano Grade at The Royal Conservatory of Music and he has participated in numerous Piano Concerts and Music Events.
• Michael is continuing his music education through the ARCT - Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto program. His music teachers are ensuring that his music education is complete in terms of instrument performance, music Theory and music History. The ARCT Diploma is recognized internationally and is one of the highest academic credentials awarded by The Royal Conservatory.
• Michael is working intensively on his music education and performance with his teacher and mentor, the pianist, musician and composer Teo Milea.
• Michael performed, once again, for the Middle School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall in New York City, June 2017. Michael was being recognized with this honor and Carnegie Hall performance opportunity as a result of previously performance at Carnegie Hall. Michael has been invited to apply for selection into this talented group and to perform in the exclusive Honors Junior Performance at Carnegie Hall on June 25, 2017. The Middle School Honors Performance Series was created to showcase accomplished individuals by allowing them to study under master Music Conductors in New York City and perform in the celebrated venue, Carnegie Hall.
• Michael has been accepted as a Junior Finalist in the Honors Junior Band for the 2018 Middle School Honors Performance Series. The Selection Board and Conductors reviewed Michael’s application and performance and chose him to represent the dedicated middle school performers from across North America by performing at Carnegie Hall. Michael’s acceptance to this talented group is a direct result of the dedication and achievements demonstrated in his performance. Michael will perform for the third year in a row at Carnegie Hall in New York City, in June 2018.
• Michael performed piano at the Consulate General of Romania in Toronto on December 3, 2016, celebrating Romanian National Day. Michael has been performed piano works by Haberbier, Beethoven, Debussy and Chopin enchanting the Piano Concert audience with his outstanding piano performance.
