The Escape
I fly with eagles on the one lane to Freedom Through the desert of the lost souls of drought Tears are dissipating from the speed of my Fate Spirits chanting in the rhythm of the desired rain... The sky commits suicide in my rearview mirror The blackness of Death stabs memories with lightning Sad drawers of my soul keep on being burglarized By the same thief of the heart of an eternal romantic I press time hard to the floor, put on make-up of Arizona red The rays slap me with Hope through the sunroof of my car Wings sprout painfully through my shrinking shoulder blades I don't ask anyone anymore permission to fly with Eagles...
The Rhythm of ME...
How can I tell you about my heart ...? it aches...it's fragile... it runs with the Wild looking for Freedom... Have you ever closed your eyes and turned the desert into an ocean? ...just like that!!! tears turn into a Tsunami there is no beach to anchor... I ride on killer whales to the infinite I let my hair loose in the dusk I ride with wild horses before they disappear... What can I tell you about my heart? Just close your eyes and...listen...
Desert Landscape
Desert wind howls in my veins I seem to be impregnated with loneliness Joshua trees lose direction Their limbs disoriented from God...
It's so much sand in my heart full of hour glasses stuck in their track I keep on waking up but cannot stand up Dirt too dirty, ground too shaky for dreaming
Nightmares slap me with indifference I am saved...am I saved from loneliness? The wind stopped but I can still breathe I AM alive and my loneliness can't kill me!!!!
