Orthodox Clergy Association of the Greater Toronto Area - Sunday of Orthodoxy Vespers
This year's pan-Orthodox Vespers on the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy (8 March, 6pm) will be held at All Saints Romanian Orthodox Church, 545 Danforth Road, in Scarborough.
Promotional posters and flyers, as well as online advertising, will be available shortly. Meanwhile, please begin to spread the word in your communities to ensure that as many Orthodox clergy and faithful from the GTA can attend.
A reminder that, in order for there to be no questions or problems in regards to concelebration, our clergy association has decided that only clerics who are members of the Orthodox Clergy Association of the GTA will concelebrate Pan-Orthodox Vespers. In other words, no visiting or unknown clergy will be serving.
If you are aware of any brother clergy of your own jurisdiction who do not serve parishes in the GTA but were planning to attend our Toronto celebration kindly inform them that they are welcome to attend, but we ask them not to vest.
While for us as Orthodox Christian clergy these are complicated times, in limiting concelebration only to members of the Orthodox Clergy Association of the GTA we will avoid any problems or complications and be able to manifest our unity and love, which is especially important as we pray for mutual understanding and reconciliation within the pleroma of our Orthodox Church.
