Celebrate Canada Day at Queen’s Park-

Ontario Welcomes Families to Canada’s Birthday Party

Ontario is inviting families and people of all ages to celebrate Canada Day with live performances, rides and entertainment on the front lawn of Queen’s Park – all for free.

The annual celebration will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Visitors can:

• Learn how to juggle, spin a hula hoop or build a rocket ship
• Watch performances by Anishnaabe dance artist, Nimkii Osawamick and Beatbox Champion, Scott Jackson
• Meet performers from Circus Canada and characters from The Jungle Book Circus
• Learn the art of puppetry
• Enjoy face painting, crafts, midway rides and more.

Admission is free and festivities run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the official opening and 21-gun salute beginning at noon.

A free water refill station is available for everyone who brings their own reusable water bottle.

“Canada Day is the perfect time for Ontarians to come together and celebrate the ties that connect us all. People come to Ontario from all over the world to fulfill their dreams of freedom, hope and opportunity. We each have our own story to tell, but we are connected by our love for this country and this province.”
— Michael Chan, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade
