Civic Holiday Weekend

Centreville is a great place to visit this Civic Holiday weekend. The Park will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Those who prefer the beach can swing by the Coppertone SunBox at the Centre Island Beach concession area until Friday, August 2; visitors can play games, sample Coppertone sun products and win prizes. The SunBox will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Jennifer King, controller, has been working at the park for the past 11 summers.

Employee Profile: Jennifer King

Jennifer King has been working as Centreville’s controller for the past five years. She started as a cashier in the ticket sales department in 2003 and has worked in various positions since then. As controller, she is responsible for tracking daily concession sales and creating reports for future use. She also programs, maintains and fixes every cash register and point-of-sale system throughout the park. Jennifer loves working with Centreville because it gives her the chance to meet new people, whether she is recruiting potential employees at a job fair or meeting and assisting Centreville customers.
